Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez, who finished second on the popular singing contest ‘American Idol’ in 2012, made a triumphant return as a contestant on ‘America’s Got Talent.’<\/div>\n
Now 29, Jessica told the audience that she joined the first season of “AGT” when she was a little girl. She only reached the semis. The singer said she was devastated when she got eliminated, but the experience pushed her to sing more. But now she’s back.<\/div>\n
“It took me 20 years, but I know exactly who I am and I know exactly what I want. I. I’m excited to be back,” she told judge Simon Cowell during an audition for the show.<\/div>\n
Jessica also revealed that she’s now married and pregnant.<\/div>\n

“I’m very happy for you,” Simon told Jessica. “Hope you do well. Good luck.”<\/div>\n
Jessica belted out a rendition of “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone during the show.<\/div>\n
After her performance, judge Sofia Vergara gave Jessica a Golden Buzzer. This means that the singer would advance to the live show.<\/div>\n
